Olivier grew up in Brussels . He played ITF juniors & ATP events and is a certified tennis coach by the prestigious Belgium Tennis Federation.
Since 2012, Grignard has held the Head Tennis Coach of the Liaoning Provincial Team, while also acting as the Head Coach of Lu JiaJing. Together they have achieved a career high ranking of no. 162 WTA ranking (2019).
They have won 2 bronze medals while representing Liaoning at the Chinese Olympic Games(2017). Made one WTA final in doubles, won 16 singles and 40 doubles tournaments on the ITF Pro Circuit.
In 2015 Olivier coached the junior World #1, Xu Shilin (China), together they won the ITF Junior Masters.
